This week's article and this intro was faxed to me on Dōmo-kun stationery by Japan-based Reddit and Discord member EmmDeez. He was on the ground as a freelance host in Kabukicho and occasionally Susukino during the heyday of MD, and says he still has purikura with questionable hairstyles of those times – think Final Fantasy-esque. I've known him since joining the MD Discord server at the beginning of 2023, and he's set me up with some hard-to-find discs for my collection as well as VHS recordings of SMAPxSMAP.
