The Last Accomplishment of MDCon of 2025!

MDCon is excited to announce the final accomplishment of 2025!

https://WMD.Pro is now owned by MDCon and administrative authority turned over to the community advancing Web MiniDisc Pro!  With the assistance of @Asivery of Discord and Reddit, the lead developer of Web MiniDisc Pro, WMD.Pro is now in the domain stable of MDCon as long as funds are available to support its registration moving forward.

Special, collectable items will be produced and made available for purchase to fund annual registration fees. Be on the lookout for announcements here and on the communication channels you have come to expect from MDCon and Gunner5.

WMD.Pro is merely a domain name pointing AT http://web.minidisc.wiki You may still access the site, functions and features at that address, this domain registration and pointing will not change the site and it's function in any way.

Three letter domains and the .pro Top Level Domain (TKD) is a Very Expensive combination. MDCon found itself in a fortunate situation where the funds were available after an influencer posted the URL of a fork of Web MiniDisc Pro that some may have been using that did not contain the current enhancements available, and would not benefit from the constant forward progress being made by Asivery and those others who contribute.

One Domain, leading the way, open to all who wish to use.

While others may be making headway in their own efforts, we hope they bring them to the community effort without a revenue plan unless revenue is needed to benefit the community effort. MDCon will make available any resources it can spare to advance the MiniDisc agenda without promise of revenue support. 

Having said that, you do have the opportunity to support the cause financially in several ways:

  1. MDCon to offset domain registration costs using MDCon's Ko-Fi
  2. Asivery to support the efforts of spearheading development and coordination of contributions of other developers using Asivery's Ko-Fi
  3. The MiniDisc Wiki itself to offset hosting and site fees using Patreon or Ko-Fi

  4. Boost MiniDisc Wiki Discord Server after joining. Please follow instructions below:

    1. Use this link to join Discord and join the MiniDisc Discord Server (join via web, mobile device application, web interface)

    2. On Desktop App, look for the following: 

      Boost Image 1

    3. Click on the numerical representation of boosts, a window will open 

      Boost Image 2

    Select "Boost This Server"

  5. Alternate method. Join Nitro on Discord, you will receive two boosts to assign to a server of your choosing and additional perks. Have fun! I've been a Nitro user since joining. The perks are great!
